I wan to give a big thanks to A&M Construction for their excellent coordination of the project. Their team and I had a discussion of what our Quality Assurance leaders in the department required to be in place for the project to proceed. A&M executed against that conversation and put a GMP standard in place that our QA approved with zero negative feedback. As the project was getting into its last stages of completion, A&M was able to utilize their staffing by moving them into and out of the work as needed to get the project complete on time and willing to give input on the proper install of items in the booth. Management
Personally, I have worked with Anthony and Brandon as the Project Managers and both of them are always willing to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. They are vey responsible, knowledgeable, communicative, and hands on.
Cost and Scheduling
A&M’s costs are competitive and fair with the market. They do a good job keeping change orders to the minimum and they are constantly looking for option to keep themselves on schedule and budget. I have never delivered over budget due to COs with them.
Construction Quality
They are active contributors to our designs and their construction quality is excellent. They have a good network with many local and preferred P&G vendors for electrical services, HVAC, FP, etc. and are always willing to work with new subcontractors is requested.
Resources
Resources should not be a problem since A&M has provided proper staffing to manage major renovations at P&G several times.
I would very highly recommend A&M Construction Services to anyone! I sent out bids to build a new 7,000-square-foot building for my veterinary practice and received very few responses. A&M was the only company that seemed truly interested in listening to my needs and helping me. They helped me design an aesthetically pleasing, very functional, and practical building for my growing practice just from floor plans I had designed myself.
They were then able to build it within about 10 feet of the back of my existing business in a timely manner without interruption of my business except for the few days it took to demolish and remove the existing building and pour the new parking lot. They quickly and easily worked through unexpected problems such as unacceptable ground underneath the existing building that had to be removed and replaced. They readily worked with me with my specific needs and requests. The final building turned out even better than I had hoped and at a reasonable price. It is now more than five years later and I am still very happy with the job A&M Construction did for me. I would not hesitate to get them to do work for me again if the need arose. And again, I would very highly recommend you hire A&M Construction for any work you need.
PS: My dad was in construction most of his life, starting as a brick mason with his dad, then later as a project manager doing jobs even for the government at Fort Bragg. So I know more than the average person about construction and know a good job when I see it.
