PROBLEM:
When you think about consumer goods, Procter & Gamble products probably come to mind. For nearly 200 years, P&G has dominated the market, offering a variety of personal and family care products. But how do they manage such demand? Production isn’t a simple process, and warehousing facilities require regular maintenance and even renovations from time to time. Procter & Gamble needed a reliable partner to complete these and various other construction projects.
SOLUTION:
From emergency repairs to multimillion-dollar upfits, A&M Construction has been trusted to take on several big projects for P&G’s facilities. Our team has worked hand in hand with the Construction Manager at P&G to manage various initiatives. We also established a routine maintenance program to ensure the environment consistently met the working and safety needs of all employees while remaining up to date.

Asheboro Animal Hospital
PROBLEM:
Asheboro Animal Hospital is a fixture in North Carolina, providing veterinary services and emergency pet care. Over 60 years, the service has grown to include five veterinarians, three vet technicians, and support staff. Their operation needs plenty of space to help animals in need. When they outgrew their space, A&M Construction answered the call to build a new facility onsite while patients were still being served at the current hospital.
SOLUTION:
We collaborate closely with clients to work with their operations and schedules because we’re all part of the same team. For the Asheboro Animal Hospital, we built a state-of-the-art care center from the ground up while services continued at the existing building. Once construction was complete, we then converted operations from the old building to the new hospital. Finally, we demolished the former hospital building, all without disrupting patient care.

Johnson Controls Facility
PROBLEM:
Not every commercial construction project involves building from the ground up or remodeling. Some companies have small, simple projects that just need the help of an experienced general contractor. That’s what Johnson Controls, a leader in mechanical energy efficiency and automation, discovered when they acquired four new generators for their facility in Florence, South Carolina.
SOLUTION:
The generators would keep the entire campus operating in the event of a major power outage, but they couldn’t just sit on the ground. The client came to A&M Construction for a solution, and we delivered. Our team installed a new foundation that safely supports the weight of the massive generators. We worked within the small project budget and delivered a full turnkey solution.
RESULTS:
Johnson Controls now has a home for their generators and no longer has to worry about power loss bringing their operations to a standstill. Our work didn’t interrupt their schedule or business functions, and we were able to establish the foundation in record time. The four new generators are stable and protected, and the client knows they can rely on A&M Construction for any project, no matter the size.
